down town Fertility Clinic & IVF centre was inaugurated on 21st
August�1999 to meet the demands of the infertile couples and the
females with Gynaecological problems. The centre has a team of
experts in this field.
Overseas advisors from Australia & U.K. & various parts of Europe.
The center has grown in the last three years with successful results
comparable with other best centers in the country in the field of
Assisted Reproduction & Advanced Gynaecological Surgeries.

Total No. Of Infertile Couples registered in the OPD - 2000.
Total no. Of IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination) - 1500-1600
Total no. Of Laparoscopic Surgery - 1400-1500
Total no. Of Hysteroscopic surgeries
Total no. Of IVF (In vitro Fertilization) - 300
Total no. Of ICSI (Intra Cytoplasmic sperm Injection) - 120
Embryo freezing - 10 cases
U.S. guided procedure - 300-400
(Hyperstimulation, cystaspriation)
The centre is now doing 150 cycles of IVF & ICSI/ year with 400-500
Lap. Surgeries & OPD patients of 1500 patients/ year.
ACADEMIC:
Center has been conducting academic program on update in Infertility
& Endoscopic Surgery. It has organized workshops in the states of
Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, and Meghalaya & Tripura. It has also
conducted training programmes on Assisted Reproduction. The centre
has organized joint workshops for updating the scientists at the
centre with Dr. Damodar Kinny, MRCOG from Harley Street Fertility
centre this year. The Director has attended European & American
conferences for upgrading the center.
